Commercial banks have agreed to reduce the interest rates on deposits.

The meeting of Nepal Bankers Association, the umbrella organization of chief executive officers of commercial banks, decided to reduce the interest rate on deposits.

Bankers have concluded reducing the interest rate due to increased liquidity in the banking system recently. It has been decided to reduce the interest rate according to the guidelines of Nepal Rastra Bank.
