KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Wednesday).
The value of most foreign currencies, including the Australian dollar, euro, pound, and Kuwaiti dinar, has decreased, while the exchange rates for the US dollar and Bahraini dinar remain stable.
As of today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 136 rupees 46 paisa, while the selling rate is 137 rupees 06 paisa. This rate has remained unchanged for the past four days.
Similarly, the exchange rate for 1 euro today stands at 147 rupees 21 paisa for buying and 147 rupees 75 paisa for selling, compared to yesterday’s rate of 147 rupees 63 paisa for buying and 148 rupees 28 paisa for selling.
The British pound is being traded at a buying rate of 176 rupees 10 paisa and a selling rate of 176 rupees 88 paisa, slightly lower than yesterday’s rates of 176 rupees 63 paisa for buying and 177 rupees 40 paisa for selling.
The Australian dollar’s exchange rate today is 85 rupees 34 paisa for buying and 85 rupees 61 paisa for selling.
The Kuwaiti dinar is being exchanged at a buying rate of 442 rupees 56 paisa and a selling rate of 444 rupees 51 paisa, showing a slight drop from yesterday’s buying rate of 442 rupees 69 paisa and selling rate of 444 rupees 68 paisa.
Meanwhile, the Bahraini dinar remains stable, with a buying rate of 361 rupees 99 paisa and a selling rate of 363 rupees 58 paisa, unchanged from yesterday.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision as needed.
