The government has increased the price of milk by Rs 9 per liter. The cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to increase the price.
The proposal to increase the price of milk was submitted to the Council of Ministers by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development a few days ago.
After the new price hike, the price of milk sold by farmers has increased from Rs 56 to Rs 65.
