Although tourism activities have been halted due to the COVID pandemic in the last two years, hotels have been added to the tourist attractions in Myagdi with huge investment. Entrepreneurs here have increased their investment in tourism infrastructure. Over the pandemic, tourism entrepreneurs have worked on expanding and managing hotel's capacity.

Entrepreneur Pramod Shrestha of Tatopani in Beni Municipality-4 has brought Shrestha Hotspring Hotel into operation with an investment of Rs 150 million. Shrestha said that the hotel is run for the patients who come for natural treatment by dipping in the hot water pond. "The hotel, which has 38 guest rooms including six suites, has been in operation since last week," he said. Shrestha added that a large and well-equipped hotel has been opened targeting domestic and foreign tourists visiting Annapurna and Nilgiri base camps.

Another businessman Raju Hamal is constructing 'Hotel Natural Spring'. The hotel has 57 guest rooms including 25 deluxe and eight sweet rooms. They have already completed the work of structure, painting, tiling and decoration of the hotel. Hamal explains, "Construction had been delayed due to the pandemic. No workers have been found and roads are also damaged due to monsoon.”

Similarly, Hotel Motherland Inn is being constructed in Galeshwor in Beni Municipality-9 and will come into operation by coming January. Local hotelier Tankalal Shrestha said that a large and well-equipped hotel is being built targeting Indian religious tourists.

"I have built a large and well-equipped hotel based on my small hotel business experience and connections. After many Indian tourists visiting Galeshwar and Muktinath complained that they could not find a good hotel, I dared to add a hotel," said Tankalal. "Those who have been vaccinated have now started visiting," he added

Similarly, the business of famous tourist destination Ghorepani, Poon hill has been affected badly due to the pandemic. The number of foreign tourists visiting Nepal has decreased due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and there is no business. So in the meantime the tourism entrepreneurs of Poon hill are demolishing the old structures of their hotels and constructing new ones. The tourism entrepreneurs are looking for ways to prolong the stay of their guests.

Entrepreneurs have added infrastructures to improve tourist footpaths, provide comfortable chairs at view points, and build bicycles and pony trek routes to Ghorepani-Pyariwarah. A museum has been built in Ghorepani. Local hotelier Sushil Pun said that infrastructures such as laying stones, viewpoints, uphill road, benches and coffee house have been added at the view point of Poon hill.
