Three years have passed since the passing of one of Nepal’s foremost entrepreneurs; the Late Ang Tshering Sherpa. On February 27, 2019 the nation was hit with the news of Sherpa along with six others’ demise in a helicopter crash in Taplejung.

His demise is still felt in the nation’s tourism sector, especially in the field of civil aviation. Known for his determination and drive, Sherpa, one of the founders of Nepal’s leading private airlines, Yeti Airlines, Tara Air, and Himalaya Airlines, a private international airline of Nepal has managed to establish itself in a short period of time.
