KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has released today’s foreign exchange rates. As per the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs. 136.08 and sold at Rs. 136.68.
The euro is available at Rs. 149.09 for buying and Rs. 149.75 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate for the British pound sterling stands at Rs. 175.43, with the selling rate at Rs. 176.20. The Swiss franc is priced at Rs. 158.13 for buying and Rs. 158.83 for selling.
The Australian dollar is being exchanged at Rs. 82.25 on the buying side and Rs. 82.61 on the selling side. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being bought for Rs. 95.69 and sold for Rs. 96.11.
The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 101.10 and a selling rate of Rs. 101.55. Ten Japanese yen are valued at Rs. 9.26 for buying and Rs. 9.30 for selling, while the Chinese yuan stands at Rs. 18.69 for buying and Rs. 18.77 for selling.
In the Middle Eastern currencies, the Saudi Arabian riyal is traded at Rs. 36.27 (buying) and Rs. 36.43 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs. 37.33 (buying) and Rs. 37.50 (selling).
The Thai baht is exchanged at Rs. 3.95 for buying and Rs. 3.97 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs. 37.05 (buying) and Rs. 37.21 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs. 30.67 for buying and Rs. 30.80 for selling.
For 100 South Korean won, the rate is Rs. 9.32 for buying and Rs. 9.36 for selling. The Swedish kronor is priced at Rs. 13.62 (buying) and Rs. 13.68 (selling), while the Danish kronor is valued at Rs. 20.00 and Rs. 20.08, respectively.
The Hong Kong dollar is available at Rs. 17.50 for buying and Rs. 17.58 for selling.
Among other Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 442.90 and sold at Rs. 444.40. The Bahraini dinar trades at Rs. 360.96 for buying and Rs. 362.56 for selling.
The Omani rial has been set at Rs. 353.49 (buying) and Rs. 355.50 (selling). Meanwhile, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
