NEPSE increases by 39.13 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: All stock market indices increased on Wednesday. The market, which had fallen by 58 points the previous day, increased by 39.13 points on Wednesday.

After that increase, the NEPSE index remained at 2,621 points. Although the market increased, the trading volume decreased. The previous day’s turnover was Rs 5.18 billion, today it was Rs 4.20 billion.

While the value of a total of 231 companies increased, 12 fell. All sector indices increased. The other and life insurance sectors increased the most by 2.2 percent.

Banking 1.15, Development Bank 1.19, Finance 1.75, Hotel and Tourism 1.78, Hydropower 1.70, Investment 1.67, Life Insurance 2.06, Manufacturing 0.98, Microfinance 1.30, Non-Life Insurance 1.75, Others 2.09 and Trade increased by 1 percent.

The price of Mountain Hydro increased by 5.85, that of Swetganga Hydropower by 5.35, that of Manakamana Engineering by 5.19, that of Rapti Hydro by 4.97, and that of Hathway Investment Company by 4.47 percent.

The price of Upkar Laghubitta decreased by 7.09 percent and that of Narayani Development Bank by 5.04 percent.

Among the companies with the most transactions on this day, Himalayan Reinsurance, Nepal Punarbima, Guardian Microlife Insurance, Narayani Development Bank, and United Modi Hydropower were respectively at the forefront.
