KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has dropped by 10.61 points to settle at 2,633.32 today.
According to NEPSE, 17,253,576 shares of 312 different companies were bought and sold 87,564 times, with a turnover of Rs 8,924,658,888.
In the transaction, the banking group decreased by 0.55, hotel and tourism by 0.51, investment by 0.77, life insurance by 1.10, mutual fund by 0.64, non-life insurance by 0.67, trade by 1.83 and other groups by 1.66 percent. The sub-indices of all other groups increased.
Development Bank Group increased by 0.72, Finance by 3.46, Hydropower by 0.35, Production and Processing by 0.67 and Microfinance by 0.04 percent.
The share price of Nyadi Hydropower Limited has entered a positive circuit today. The share price of Saptakoshi Development Limited has fallen the most, with a decrease of 8.46 percent.
In terms of trading volume, Sindhu Bikas Bank Limited has seen the highest turnover today, worth Rs 298.379 million, while NMB-50 has seen the highest turnover of 675,159 shares.
