KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday), with fluctuations observed in multiple currencies.
The exchange rates for currencies such as the Euro, Pound Sterling, and Kuwaiti Dinar have increased, while the Australian Dollar has depreciated. However, the US Dollar and Bahraini Dinar remain unchanged.
As of today, the buying rate for 1 US Dollar stands at NPR 136.46, while the selling rate is NPR 137.06, remaining the same as yesterday.
For the Euro, today’s buying rate is NPR 147.76, and the selling rate is NPR 148.41. In contrast, yesterday’s rates were NPR 146.99 and NPR 147.63, respectively.
The Pound Sterling has also seen an increase, with today’s buying rate at NPR 176.61 and the selling rate at NPR 177.38.
Meanwhile, the Australian Dollar has depreciated slightly, with the buying rate at NPR 85.80 and the selling rate at NPR 86.18, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 85.86 and NPR 86.24.
Similarly, the Kuwaiti Dinar has risen, with today’s buying rate at NPR 442.71 and the selling rate at NPR 444.65. Yesterday, these rates stood at NPR 442.51 and NPR 444.45, respectively.
The Bahraini Dinar remains stable, with both its buying and selling rates unchanged at NPR 361.97 and NPR 363.56, respectively.
