KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.

Currently, the US dollar is being exchanged at a buying rate of 136 rupees 46 paisa and a selling rate of 137 rupees 06 paisa. This marks a decrease from yesterday’s rates of 136 rupees 46 paisa for buying and 137 rupees 06 paisa for selling.

On Magh 25, the US dollar reached its highest recorded value in Nepal, with a buying rate of 139 rupees 83 paisa and a selling rate of 140 rupees 43 paisa.

The euro is also trading lower today, with a buying rate of 146 rupees 99 paisa and a selling rate of 147 rupees 63 paisa, compared to yesterday’s rates of 146 rupees 99 paisa and147 rupees 63 paisa.

Similarly, the pound sterling has dropped, with today’s rates set at 176 rupees 42 paisa for buying and 177 rupees 19 paisa for selling, down from yesterday’s 176 rupees 42 paisa and 177 rupees 19 paisa.

The Australian dollar has also declined, with the current buying rate at 85 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 24 paisa, a stable from yesterday’s 85 rupees 86 paisa and 86 rupees 24 paisa.

The Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 95 rupees 24 and a selling rate of NPR 95 rupees 66 paisa . The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is NPR 101 rupees 66 paisa , while the selling rate is NPR 102 rupees 10 paisa .

The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9 rupees 05 paisa , and the selling rate is NPR 9 rupees 09 paisa . One Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18 rupees 78 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 18 rupees 87 paisa . The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 36 rupees 38 paisa , while the selling rate is NPR 36 rupees 54 paisa . Similarly, one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37 rupees 44 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 37 rupees 60 paisa .

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4 rupees 1 paisa , and the selling rate is NPR 4 rupees 03 paisa . The buying rate for one UAE Dirham is NPR 37 rupees 15 paisa , while the selling rate is NPR 37 rupees 32 paisa . The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 30 rupees 75 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 30 rupees 89 paisa .

The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9 rupees 29paisa , while the selling rate is NPR 9 rupees 34 paisa . One Swedish Kroner has a buying rate of NPR 13 rupees 57 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 13 rupees 63 paisa . The buying rate for one Danish Kroner is NPR 19 rupees 70 paisa , and the selling rate is NPR 19 rupees 79 paisa .

For the Hong Kong Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 17 rupees 54 paisa , and the selling rate is NPR 17 rupees 62 paisa . The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 442 rupees 51 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 444 rupees 45 paisa . The buying rate for one Bahraini Dinar is NPR 361 rupees 97 paisa , while the selling rate is NPR 363 rupees 56 paisa . One Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 354 rupees 46 paisa and a selling rate of NPR 356 rupees 02 paisa .

The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160 rupees 00 for buying and NPR 160 rupees 15 paisa for selling.
