NRB releases foreign exchange rates for Sunday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday, detailing the buying and selling values of various international currencies in terms of the Nepali rupee.

According to the central bank, the US dollar is being traded at Rs. 136.08 for buying and Rs. 136.68 for selling.

The euro stands at Rs. 150.39 for buying and Rs. 151.05 for selling, while the British pound is being exchanged at Rs. 176.84 and Rs. 177.62 respectively. The Swiss franc has been valued at Rs. 160.24 on the buying end and Rs. 160.94 on the selling end.

For other major currencies, one Australian dollar is being exchanged at Rs. 82.52 for buying and Rs. 82.88 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at Rs. 95.79 and Rs. 96.22 respectively, while the Singapore dollar is traded at Rs. 101.47 and Rs. 101.91 for buying and selling.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are priced at Rs. 9.39 for buying and Rs. 9.43 for selling. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 18.69 and sold at Rs. 18.77.

The Saudi riyal is valued at Rs. 36.26 for buying and Rs. 36.42 for selling, and the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 37.33 and Rs. 37.50 respectively.

In terms of other regional currencies, the Thai baht is being traded at Rs. 3.98 for buying and Rs. 4.00 for selling. The exchange rate for one UAE dirham has been set at Rs. 3.05 for buying and Rs. 3.21 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is listed at Rs. 3.67 and Rs. 3.80.

For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs. 9.39 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.43. The Swedish krona is exchanged at Rs. 13.69 for buying and Rs. 13.75 for selling, while the Danish krona is listed at Rs. 20.15 and Rs. 20.24.

The Rastra Bank has also fixed the rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs. 17.51 for buying and Rs. 17.59 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs. 442.51 on the buying side and Rs. 444.46 on the selling side.

Likewise, the Bahraini dinar is priced at Rs. 360.99 and Rs. 362.58, while the Omani rial stands at Rs. 353.49 and Rs. 355.05 respectively. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
