Samsung TV Factory Inauguration Ceremony

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Chong-Suk attended the inauguration ceremony of the Samsung TV Factory located in Bhairahawa.

In his congratulatory speech, Ambassador Park emphasized the importance of economic development through FDI(foreign direct investment) in the process of Nepal preparing to graduate from Least Developed Countries (LDC) in 2026, and added that with the establishment of a factory equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities, it is expected that the Nepalese manufacturing industry would further develop in the future.

Ambassador Park said that Korea will continue to support Nepal's economic development as a partner in Nepal's economic and development cooperation.

Ramesh Rijal, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies of Nepal, expressing appreciation for Korea's support for Nepal's development and employment, and said that the Nepalese government will make the necessary efforts to encourage more Korean and foreign companies to invest in Nepal in the future.
