The world-famous automobile brand Chery is coming to Nepal and SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd has  been appointed as its authorized distributor for Nepal. The company is confident that the cooperation between the two sides will make an impact in the local market and also help in the development of the Nepali automobile sector. According to Company sources, they are expected to commence operations soon.

Chery Automobile Co. Ltd, founded on January 08, 1997, with the first car off the production line. It was launched on December 18, 1999. At present, Chery has an annual production capacity of 900,000 cars, engines, and 400,000 transmissions. Chery’s products cover passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and minivans. The company has several vehicle assemblies and component manufacturing facilities in mainland China, and its vehicles are assembled in around 15 other countries.

Currently, there are more than 20 models of Chery available on the international market, and in addition, dozens more will be released successively. Taking safe, energy-saving, and eco-friendly as product objectives, Chery has successfully obtained quality certifications of ISO9001 and German TUV Rheinland ISO/TS16949. It has also won the honorary title of “Best Overseas Image Enterprise” in China for five consecutive years, and ranked first in the equipment manufacturing industry.
