KATHMANDU: The stock market has increased by 2.55 percent this week. The market, which was at 2588 last week, increased by 66 points this week to settle at 2654.

The market, which increased by 12.58 points on the first day of this week, Sunday, increased by 6.78 points on Monday, 5.08 on Tuesday and 52.36 points on Wednesday. On the last trading day, Thursday, it decreased by 11.10 points.

The market has also increased in terms of trading volume. It was 6.25 billion on Sunday, 6.57 billion on Monday, 6.19 billion on Tuesday, 9.20 billion on Wednesday and 7.85 billion on Thursday.

All sectors have increased this week except finance. The finance sector has decreased by 2.84 percent. This sector had also decreased the most last week. This week, other sectors increased by 9.40 percent.
