1 woman died in Koteshwor, Kathmandu last night due to a vehicle collision. A 35-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle whose license plate number was not disclosed. She died at 12.30 pm during treatment at National Trauma Center located in Mahankal. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained and the police are looking for the driver who absconded with the vehicle after the accident.
Similarly, a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a van in Maitighar, Kathmandu today. The injured person is 29-year-old Kamal Periyar, a resident of Bharatpur, Chitwan, who was riding a bicycle. The injured is being treated at Annapurna Neuro Hospital located in Maitighar. A Maruti van hit Pariyar while riding a bicycle at 6:50 this morning. The police have arrested the driver of the van that hit.
