34 lakh to vote from Bagmati province

A total of 34 lakh 71 thousand seven hundred and ninety-two voters are going to cast their votes in the election of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly to be held on November 20 in all 13 districts including Kathmandu valley of Bagmati province. Among them, 1.737 thousand 378 women and 1.738 thousand 87 men are voters, according to Bagmati Province Election Office in Makwanpur.

A total of 4,143 polling stations have been set up for those voters. As there are temporary voters in all 13 districts including Kathmandu Valley, separate polling stations have been assigned to them as per their requirement and among those polling stations prisoners in prisons, third gender community, and civil servants have been given the opportunity to vote only in the election of proportional parliamentarians, Chief Officer of Bagmati Province Election Office, Lumbnath Pokharel informed.
