Animal rights activists have demonstrated in Kathmandu demanding action against Juna Baram of Tarakeshwar Municipality who brutally killed a dog with a sharp sickle. Animal rights workers have said that the abuse and mistreatment of the protestors at that time was very regrettable.
It is said that some of the animal activists who were assaulted while going to report to Balaju police were injured.
