Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) presented ' PATA Face of the Future Award'-2020 to tourism entrepreneur Suresh Singh Budal.
PATA honoured him in recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of a sustainable and accountable tourism approach in the Nepali tourism industry, the PATA Nepal Chapter said in a press statement Thursday.
Though Budal, the CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter, was selected for the award for 2020, it could not be conferred on time due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Budal received the award during the PATA Awards ceremony held on October 26 under the PATA Annual Summit 2022 at Ras Al Khaimah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the statement added.
According to PATA official website, PATA annually presents a special award and prize to an exceptional ‘rising star’ in the industry to highlight its commitment to human capital development.
