KATHMANDU: A curfew has been enforced following incidents of arson and vandalism carried out by pro-monarchy protesters in several parts of Kathmandu.

The District Administration Office issued the curfew order after the royalist protests turned violent.

Kathmandu’s Chief District Officer announced the curfew in the areas of Koteshwor, Baneshwor, Sinamangal, and Tinkune.
