Marking the 505th day of the Russia-Ukraine war, the Human Rights and Peace Society held a demonstration in front of the Russian Embassy in the capital yesterday.
The participants of the demonstration carried placards urging Russia to end the war immediately.
After the demonstration, a memorandum on behalf of the Society was handed over to Russian President Vladimir Putin through an official of the Russian Embassy in Nepal.
Around four dozen peace activists including members of the Society took part in the demonstration.
