Fire breaks out in a furniture factory

A fire broke out in a furniture factory in Bhaktapur yesterday evening.

Efforts to douse the fire that started at 7:00 pm in a furniture factory at Chundevi of Suryavinayak Municipality-5 in Bhaktapur continued till 9 pm.

The cause of the fire and the damage incurred is not yet known, he said that all the details will be available after the fire is completely brought under control.

Meanwhile, Vijay Prasad Dhaubhadel, information officer of Judh Fire Engines, Bhaktapur, said that 90 percent of the fire has been brought under control and efforts are being made to douse the fire completely.
