A fire has broken out in Shivapuri National Park.
Helicopters have been deployed to put out the fire. However, it has not come under control, Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali of Kathmandu Police Complex, Teku, said.
Police had received information that a fire had started in the forest of Tare Bhir, east of Budhanilkantha, at around 2 pm. "The Nepal Army and forest management team have been mobilized to control the fire," said SP Mainali.
