The Gaijatra festival, which is celebrated in the memory of dead people, is being celebrated this year on Friday, August 12. In Bhaktapur, the places to be circumambulated on this occasion were cleaned today, with the initiative of Bhaktapur Municipality.
During the cleaning program, Bhaktapur Municipality Chief, Sunil Prajapati said that, it is our common responsibility to protect the rich art and culture of our country.
Bhaktapur Municipality is going to hold a competition regarding traditional and modern cultural genres as well, this year.
