The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) scheduled for today has been postponed till September 14. The meeting was earlier scheduled to be held at 1:00 pm today.
Secretary at HoR, Gopalnath Yogi, issued a notice and informed us that the HoR could not meet today due to special reasons. The meeting will be held on September 14 as per Rule 6 (c) of HoR Regulation, 2075.

A statement issued by the Secretary General of the Federal Parliament Bharatraj Gautam stated that the meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed due to “special reasons”.
According to a source, the meeting of the HoR has been postponed as the ruling CPN-Maoist requested to postpone the meeting as the general convention is underway. Currently, the process of selecting a new working committee has started at the General Convention.
The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for October 26 has been postponed.
In a notice issued Tuesday by General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Dr. Bharatraj Gautam, it is mentioned that the meeting could not be held on that day due to special reasons.
Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has scheduled the next meeting of the House of Representatives to be held at 2:00 pm of October 28, adds the notice.
