Police on Sunday afternoon arrested a man on charge of raping a 13-year-old girl from Kamalbinayak in Bhaktapur district.

The accused has been identified as Basanta Damai (32), a local resident of Baiteshwor Rural Municipality-4 in Dolakha district.

Acting on a tip-off, Jagati-based Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC) personnel nabbed Damai.
