Police have arrested 28-year-old Surendra Bahadur Rai of Udayapur Gaighat on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.
A complaint was lodged with the police that Rai took the girl to his room and forced her.
The police are investigating further in this regard.
56-year-old Chhatra Bahadur Budhathoki has been arrested for raping a 5-year-old girl.
It has been reported that Budhathoki of the Shiv Satasi Dham municipality forced the girl into his own home and sexually assaulted her.
