More than 300 houses flooded in Kathmandu

The Kathmandu Valley has been flooded due to the continuous rainfall since last night. Three hundred and eighty-two houses have been flooded. Till now it is reported that police have rescued 138 people living near rivers.  The residents of the settlements have been rescued and taken to a safe place by the police. The vegetable market of Balkhu, housing area of Kuleshwor, Narephant area of Koteshwar, lower area of Nepaltar of Balaju, Shankhamul Park and vegetable market area of Kalimati were affected the most due to the rain.
