National Police Academy kicks off 15th driving training in Kathmandu

The 15th driving training has started at the Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal under the auspices of the National Police Training Academy, Maharajgunj.

SSP Narottam Lal Pradhan inaugurated the training programme organised at the Vehicle Division on Thursday.

The training has been started using the latest technology to fulfil the need of skilled drivers and mechanics required by the organisation, informed SSP Pradhan.

A total of 32 trainees including six police constables and 26 police personnel will be participating in the 30-day training, said DSP Kamalendra Lal Karna, Training Coordinator.

So far, 454 police personnel have received advanced driver training, according to the division.
