After the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana was ordered to return to regular work, security personnel have been mobilized thickly at the entrance of the Supreme Court.
Rana informed the Supreme Administration that he would return to work after the Parliament's impeachment recommendation committee submitted its report stating that there were grounds and reasons for impeachment against Rana.
Law professionals have appeared in the Supreme Court in large numbers to stop Rana, saying that the impeachment has not been dismissed.
After the meeting, Nepal Bar Association decided not to allow the suspended Chief Justice Rana to enter the Supreme Court. Legal professionals of the Nepal Bar and the Supreme Bar sat at the gate of the Supreme Court to stop him.
President of Nepal Bar Gopalkrishna Ghimire said that the protest has begun at the gate of the Supreme Court as per the preparations to prevent the suspended Chief Justice Rana from entering the Supreme Court.
