KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced scheduled power cuts in Satungal and surrounding areas of Kathmandu today (Saturday) to carry out maintenance work, including enhancing conductor capacity.

According to the NEA’s notice, power will be interrupted in locations such as Kanchan Gate, Bossigaun, Bothali, and Satungal Chowk, which are served by the Balambu feeder, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The NEA has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to customers and assured that electricity will be restored before the scheduled time if the work is completed earlier.

In addition, the Mulpani Substation Construction Project has notified that power supply will be suspended in areas including Baneshwor, Maharajgunj, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju, and Kuleshwor Distribution Centers by this evening due to ongoing technical work at the substation.
