From Sunday, September 18, banks in Kathmandu Valley will issue new notes for Dashain. Nepal Rastra Bank has informed that new notes have been provided to all commercial banks this year so that new notes can be issued easily.
The National Bank has also asked all the 'A' class commercial banks to arrange for issuing new notes through designated branches within the Kathmandu Valley.
According to Rashtra Bank, Rs. 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 rate per person up to Rs 18,000 will be provided.
