Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has pressed the idea of promoting the culture of exploring special aspects of arts and cultures of each caste and community as well as protecting, recognizing, and archiving them as intellectual properties.

While inaugurating the 37th meeting of the Academic Assembly of Nepal Academy here today, the head of the government described art, culture, literature, philosophy, and sociology as the national treasures featuring the distinct identity of the nation.

Prime Minister who is also the Patron of Nepal Academy said just physical achievement and progress of any nation would not suffice to indicate the development status of that nation.
