Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has instructed the concerned authority not to announce public holiday for any public programme he would be attending in coming days and not to allow participation of children in the programme.
PM Dahal's direction came in the wake of the news report of Sunapati rural municipality in Ramechhap district declaring a public holiday for a programme that the PM would be attending on January 4, according to Govinda Acharya, PM's Press Advisor.
Following the instruction of the PM, the rural municipality is also reported to have scrapped the public holiday declared for the same.
