Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and US Ambassador for Nepal, Randy Berry monitored the vaccination centre at Kupandol of Lalitpur Metropolitan City -1 today.
The Johnson &Johnson manufactured vaccines provided by the US are being administered under the vaccination programme throughout the country in a bid to control the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, Lalitpur metropolis mayor Chiribabu Maharjan informed PM Deuba that arrangements have been made to administer the vaccine at all the 29 Wards of the metropolis.
Prime Minister Deuba inspected the vaccination centre at Lalitpur Metropolitan City-1 among the six local bodies in Lalitpur district today in course of observing the various vaccination centres in the Kathmandu Valley today.
Along with mayor Maharjan, deputy mayor Gita Satyal, the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur Dhundi Prasad Niraula and Chief of the District Public Health Office Lalitpur, Dr Khageshwor Gelal were also present on the occasion.
