The Qatar Visa Centre in Kathmandu will open its services today. After the government imposed the prohibitory orders to curb the spread of the second wave of the coronavirus in Nepal, the centre had shut down its services.
However, since the government has allowed flights to Qatar from today the visa centre will resume its services. As per the recent directive from the government, one weekly flight to Qatar has been permitted until all regular international flights are allowed to operate.
The Qatar Visa Centre will be processing 50 visa applications each today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, from Wednesday the centre will process 200 visa applications of migrant workers every day.
