Rath Yatra of Indrajatra begins

Rath Yatra has started from today as part of Indra Jatra, a traditional festival of Kathmandu. During this, the Rath Yatra of Kumari Ganesha and Bhairab started from Basantpur.

 President Ramchandra Paudel attended the launch of the Rath Yatra.

Today, various dignitaries including the Vice President and millions of common people were present.

This journey will last for 1 week.

It is customary for women to pull chariots on the last day.
