Recommendation to end the Parliament session from tomorrow night

The government has recommended to the President to end the session of Parliament tomorrow (Saturday) from 12 pm.

Minister of Tourism Jeevan Ram Shrestha informed that the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, has recommended to the President for the end of the session.

The Election Commission has set the time for the next Sunday and Monday to submit the list of proportional candidates for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly member elections. On the proportional side, there is a rule that the term of the current parliament will last until the day before the submission of the closed list of candidates.
