Speaker Agni Sapkota has announced that he will not be a candidate in the House of Representatives elections to be held on November 20.
In a press conference at Singha Durbar on Saturday, the day before the election nominations, Sapkota said that he would not contest the election, to give opportunities to the youths.
From Sindhupalchok 1, he was recommended by the Maoist Center as number one.
Earlier he was elected from Sindhupalchok.
