Two youths held with controlled drugs from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu

Police arrested two youths in possession of controlled drugs from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu district.

The arrested have been identified as Arjun Kumar Sarkar (26) of Lalbandi Municipality-8 and Manish Majhi (21) of Ishworpur Municipality-4 in Sarlahi district. They had 17 ampules of nurfin and phenergan, and 44 nitravet tablets in their possession.

They were travelling in a bus with registration number NA 5 KHA 6599 to Kathmandu from Sarlahi. Nagdhunga-based Metropolitan Police Division (MPD) personnel nabbed them with controlled drugs during a routine vehicle check on Saturday morning.

Further investigation into the case is being carried out, said MPD, Nagdhunga.
