Even at the age of 66, well-known singer Shashi Gurung has been active in the music industry by recording new songs. Singer Shashi Gurung’s efforts are commendable by various senior people in the music industry. At the music video release ceremony of singer Gurung’s song in Kathmandu today, various artists praised singer Gurung.

Written by senior lyricist Prakash Shayami and music by Prabin Baraili, the video of the song was directed by Bijaya raj Bhurtel. Similarly, another song written by Senior Lyricist Bhushan Kharel and composed by senior Music Director Shakti Ballab has been sung by singer Gurung.

In the year 2034, after passing the vocal test in Radio Nepal, he started his singing journey and after serving in the police for 22 years, he started to continue singing again.

Senior lyricist Nagendra Thapa, the chief guest of the ceremony, appreciated the good song recording in the voice of singer Gurung.

The chairman of the ceremony, another veteran lyricist Bishwa Ballab, wished singer Gurung to continue his creations.

Speakers such as senior lyricist Shri Purush Dhakal, Rameshanand Baidhya and others wished singer Gurung.

In the program, veteran singer Ombikram Bishta from America and senior lyricist Prakash Saimy from Thailand praised singer Gurung’s singing style through video message.

At the ceremony, singer Shashi Gurung informed that he had recorded a song with the music of his childhood friend Om Bikram Bista and that he would make the song public after he came to Nepal from America.
