Police arrested a youth in possession of 412 gm of Yarsagumba medicinal herb also known as Caterpillar fungus, Silajeet worth 650 gram and Red Keshari worth 100 gram from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu.
The arrested has been identified as 24-year-old Tula Kami of Kankasundari Rural Municipality-8 in Jumla.
Kami was riding on a bus with vehicle registration number NA 7 KHA 2111 heading towards Kathmandu from Kakarvitta. Security personnel deployed from the Nagdhunga police nabbed him with the medicinal herbs while conducting a regular vehicle check.
Kami has been handed over to Hattisar-based Division Forest Office for necessary actions and further investigation, said Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot.
