KATHMANDU: Eleven individuals have been arrested across various regions of the country for their involvement in criminal activities.
According to the Central Police Newsroom, the arrests took place in Rautahat, Bardiya, Chitwan, and Sarlahi.
Police reports indicate that 31-year-old Sagar Shrestha and four others were apprehended in Bardiya’s Badaiyatala Rural Municipality-2 for possessing a substance resembling brown heroin.
In Chitwan, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Gumba Chowk, Kalika Municipality-6, with 450 grams of hashish, alongside 27-year-old Sameer Pariyar, who was also detained from the area.
Additionally, four individuals were arrested in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4, along Lankulakshmi Path, with around 50 grams of cannabis, other illegal drugs, and cash totaling Rs 95,700.
In Sarlahi, 27-year-old Mukesh Kumar Soni from Rajwada-9, Sitamadii, India, was arrested in Suknaha Bazaar, Ishwarpur Municipality-15, for possessing one counterfeit five-hundred-rupee note and twenty-nine counterfeit one-hundred-rupee notes.
