KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), appeared at the Kathmandu District Court today (Sunday) to face fraud allegations related to Kathmandu’s Swarna Laxmi Cooperative.
Lamichhane, who had been granted bail in a fraud case involving Pokhara’s Suryadarshan Cooperative, arrived in Kathmandu on the evening of January 9.
In addition to the Kathmandu case, Lamichhane is also facing fraud accusations at Rupandehi’s Supreme Cooperative, Chitwan’s Sahara Chitwan, and Parsa’s Sano Paila Cooperative, with legal proceedings underway to file charges in those districts as well.
