UML Central Member Kishor Bikram Malla arrested from Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Kishor Bikram Malla, a central member of the CPN-UML, has been arrested from kathmandu.

According to Kathmandu District Police Range, he was taken into custody after a complaint was filed for an offense of ‘check bounce’ at Police Circle, Maharajgunj.  He was arrested on Monday, has been kept in Maharajgunj Circle.

UML’s Pushpa Raj Paharai filed a complaint with the police after a check worth Rs 2.50 million bounced. In case of a bounced check, settlement can be reached between the two parties at any stage.

Consequently, the police have been assisting in facilitating negotiations between the two parties.
