KATHMANDU: The Israeli Embassy in Nepal has handed over personal belongings of victims of the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7 to their families.
The Israeli Embassy played a significant role in bringing to Nepal the items of deep emotional significance of Nepali students participating in the ‘Learn and Earn program’ in Israel in 2023. Israeli Ambassador Shmulik Ari Bash made a personal effort to bring these items to Nepal.
He met with Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary and six other students and the families of the victims who were injured in the Hamas attack, listened to their stories of pain, expressed sympathy, and wished them well for their future. He also expressed his hope for the speedy return of Nepali citizen Bipin Joshi, who is under control of the Hamas.
