The birth anniversary of late Gopal Yongjan, a senior lyricist, musician, and singer of Nepal, was celebrated today.
He contributed significantly to the development of Nepali modern music. He also gave music for many Nepali movies.
Many popular songs sung by Nepal's famous singer late Narayan Gopal were composed by Gopal Yonjan. He also used to teach on the Padmakanya campus. The songs composed by the late Yongjan were sung by various artists at the event.
In the program organized by Neva Sadhan Kala Kendra, senior musician Raju Singh was presented with the Gopal Yonjan Achievement Award.
