A book called 'Nepal Remembers: Historical Images' has been released in London, United Kingdom, and the photographs contained in it have been exhibited.
In the program organized by the Royal Asiatic Society, the pictures depicting Nepal in the book written by Christina Chitrakar were exhibited.
According to the information given by senior photojournalist Kiran Chitrakar, the book has been prepared by including the photographs taken by his grandfather Dilghman and father Ganeshman Chitrakar in various parts of Nepal over the course of a century.
According to the organizer, the exhibition will also include photographs reflecting the relationship between Britain and Nepal, which has been in diplomatic relations for more than 200 years.
The Chitrakar family is considered to be the first family to use a camera in Nepal. The pictures taken by the old cameras are also kept in the book.
20 pictures were placed in the exhibition.
