Comedian Kumar Kattel Jigri, who has been popular for the past few years through television serials, is going to contest the upcoming parliamentary elections. It has been stated that he will run as an independent candidate from Jhapa Constituency No. 5 in the election to be held on November 20. He is active as an artist as well as a social worker and youth activist.
