KATHMANDU: Village Marpha of Mustang was turned into a carnival ground when Anmol KC and Aanchal Sharma arrived on the shooting schedule of their forthcoming film ‘Jerry: On Top’. Traditional music, smiles, and heart-felt gifts welcomed the star pair by the villagers, making their journey unforgettable.

For Anmol KC, the moment was particularly special. Speaking about his past, he remembered that 10 years ago he had received the same huge amount of love when he had come here for the shoot of his blockbuster movie Jerry.”It feels just like before—this love and affection make it an emotional and memorable experience for me,” he expressed.

The success of Jerry played a significant role in boosting tourism in Manang and Mustang, turning them into top destinations for domestic travelers. In fact, locals have even named a street ‘Jerry Galli’ in honor of the film’s impact!

Directed by Suyog Gurung and produced by Saroj Neupane, the film is almost complete, with only one song left to be shot. The production team has confirmed that the rest of the filming is already wrapped up. But the official release date for the film is to be announced.

Apart from Anmol KC and Aanchal Sharma, the film boasts a star-studded cast comprising Jassita Gurung, Bhuwan KC, Kedar Ghimire, and Usha Khadgi.
