KATHMANDU: The Dhulikhel University, Kavre recently witnessed its first ever International Vipashyan Runway Fashion Show. Its patronage belongs to beauty pageant winners from both Nepal and outside of it. Among many others, there were present the likes of Miss Globe 2023 Anvi Khaira, Mister Supranational 2018 Prathamesh Mowlingkar, Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 Melissa Lin, Miss Supranational Myanmar 2024 Myo Lei.

Own stars walked on the ramp in this show: Miss Supranational Sajina Khanal, Mister Supranational Dhirajkaji Basnet, Miss Globe Nepal Monika Adhikari, and Mister Tourism Nepal Milan Bhattrai, for this Vipashyan and World Youth Festival show that aims to send a powerful message through entertainment and activism on climate change.

The theme of Vipashyan: Runway for Peace was to promote awareness about climate change and environmental concerns, and future editions would be held at nature-rich destinations around the world. The show focused on blending nature with humankind, and the organizers vowed to bring international icons for future seasons to boost environmental awareness and tourism.
